This site has two parts, a list of groups that meet at a regular time and place listed by opening this link Standard-6-Page-Events-List last updated 08/28/17. When you open the link, it opens a word document sorted by day that shows what groups are meeting, what size the group is, where they meet and who is the contact person. Wednesday Oct 4th 7:30-9:00 AM the GVCC will have SW Washington Leads and Needs – Sponsored by Simply Thyme located at Beaches Restaurant & Bar.  Join us for our twice-monthly SW WA Leads & Needs! Bring plenty of business cards and be ready for an opportunity at the microphone as everyone will get a chance to introduce their business. We’ll hear about our sponsoring business, then, we’ll break into small groups for more intimate networking! Be prepared to make lasting connections and find new business leads at this event. Time: 7:30 to 9 AM. $5/Member $10/non-member (bring a one-time, non-member guest and you both get in free). Please pre-register online. Wednesday Oct 4th 9-9:15 AM The GVCC will have a Free Ribbon Cutting immediately following the Lead and Needs event for Journey Theater Arts Group. Join the GVCC Ambassadors for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate our new GVCC member Journey Theater Arts Group on Wednesday October 4 at Beaches Restaurant immediately following the morning Leads and Needs event. There will be 5 in costume characters from Alice In Wonderland attending too! This is an event you will not want to miss!

Wednesday Oct 4th 8-10 AM the Metropolitan Senior Network will have a breakfast at the YWCA located at 3609 Main St, Vancouver WA 98663.  Come network with other senior focused individuals and bring plenty of business cards.  This meeting is sponsored by Clear Water Springs Assisted Living.

Wednesday Oct 4th 12-1 PM Networking Lunch and Learn at City Bible Church.  Come network with other and have a Free Lunch Sponsored by James and Carolyn Kimball.  The church is located at 14311 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98684. There is a video by John Maxwell and a discussion to follow.  Each person gets to introduce themselves to each other so bring plenty of business cards.  

Thursday Oct 5th 3:30-5:30 PM Senior Services Network will have a Happy Hour at Mallard Landing located at 813 SE Clark Ave, Battle Ground WA 98604.  Come network with organizations that are senior focused.  Bring plenty of business cards as there is always a drawing for a gift basket and lots of people to exchange them with.

Friday Oct 6th 10-12 Noon, Chicks Connect meeting located at Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce offices. Dazzling Chicks is a Chapter of Chicks Connect, a nationwide networking & mastermind organization founded in Oregon by Julie Muller. We meet 2 x per month, with a focus on women owned businesses. Friday, October 6 at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Open House Silent Art Auction Hosted by NAMI Southwest Washington located at Firefly Atelier Hair Salon, 309 E 15th St #C, Vancouver WA 98663. A fundraising event for NAMI SW WA’s suicide awareness & prevention programs. Come view and bid on artwork donated by artists who support suicide awareness and prevention. Many pieces will be from our Broken Beauty Art Showcase shown in Clark and Cowlitz counties. The artwork will be available in a wide variety of media. Mixed media, acrylics, lamps, watercolors, bowls, and much more. Bring business cards to exchange with others and meet new contacts.
