Here is a little info that might help. This site has two parts, a list of groups that meet at a regular time and place listed by opening this link Standard-6-Page-Events-List-3 or PDF version Standard-6-Page-Events-List-3 last updated 4/8/19. When you open the link, it opens a word document sorted by day that shows what groups are meeting, what size the group is, where they meet and who is the contact person. The list has a revision date at the bottom so you know if you have the most recent version. Second scroll down for a list of meeting times for current events. Be ready for an opportunity at the microphone as everyone will get a chance to introduce their business with a 15 second “elevator pitch.” Bring plenty of business cards, because we will then break out into groups to for speed networking that maximizes your time spent with us. Saturday May 11th 10-3 PM OAME Entrepreneurship Trade Show & Luncheon. The Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs is presenting its 29th Annual Luncheon and Trade Show at the Oregon Convention Center.  Trade show attendance is FREE and visitors have 130 booths to network with. OAME is a nonprofit business association with 800 members serving Oregon and SW Washington. We are an inclusive organization, all ethnicities and backgrounds are welcome here. The Trade Show will feature over 130 small and large business exhibitors under one roof to help you network your business and get more contracts.  There is also a strong attendance of state, county and federal government at the event to find opportunities to partner with small businesses. Our guest speakers for the luncheon are John Rodgers Jr. and Mellody Hobson of Ariel Investments. Both of them are known nationally for the success of the company and their active involvement with the boards on various Fortune 500 companies. Trade show admission is FREE and event runs 10 AM-12 PM and 1:30 PM-3 PM. The Luncheon costs $85 and runs from 12 PM-1:30 PM. Wednesday May 15th 5-7 PM The GVCC will have Business After Hours at Boomerang Bistro 808 Main Street, B, Vancouver, WA 98660. Join us at our May edition of Business After Hours at Boomerang Bistro. Coffee that gives back. Profits from this little cafe go out to do big things in our community by supporting local charities. Boomerang is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the proceeds from every coffee, sandwich and cocktail you order goes right back into the community we are all apart of!
