Wednesday August 4th from 5-7 PM Vancouver Business Networking Mixer is having a get together with Connect for Success Group at the Fireside Cafe located at 6709 NE 63rd st. Vancouver, WA 98661.  We will join the Clark County Live groups for a meet and greet from 5:00 to 7:00.There are about 70-80 people from those groups expected, and CFS group can make the total over 100. Thursday  August 5th from 12-1 p.m. The Clark County Association of Marketing Professionals (CCAMP) has just unveiled a twice-monthly series of educational seminars, announced Dave Blanchard, CCAMP president. The Ultimate Marketing Secrets Speaker Series will be held on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the SoHo Marketing Institute, 953 Officers Row in Vancouver WA. The meetings are free and open to the public, but preregistration is strongly encouraged due to space limitations. Thirteen Downtown Vancouver art galleries and Vancouver’s Downtown Association will hold a free “Art in the Heart” community event in the city center on August 6 and 7. Starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday Aug. 6 the public is invited to stroll from gallery to gallery as artists demonstrate their talents accompanied by live music. At 8:15, the crowd will make its way to Turtle Place at 7th Avenue and Main Street to enjoy a beer garden and a live performance by Seattle’s Hit Explosion on a stage sponsored by First Independent Bank. Saturday August 7th.  A new east Vancouver mail service business Print-n-Post is set to open at 9 a.m. Monday offering shipping and postal services and merchandise. The store’s husband-and-wife team owners, Phil and Kolleen Peterson of Brush Prairie, and Dion and Kristina Labadie of Vancouver, plan to host a grand opening with food, drawings and prizes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 7.
