Tuesday, August 17, noon to 1:30 Looking to Make a Difference? Community organizations are looking for you! The Nonprofit Network can bring you together with some of those nonprofits for an introductory conversation. The setting is fun & social. Structured like ‘speed dating’, you will meet several different organizations for one-to-one conversations. This is a chance to learn about a variety of work being done by community organizations, and gain insight into how to make a difference as a volunteer, perhaps on a nonprofit board or committee. You will leave with: Connections to the leadership of local nonprofit organizations, and Ways to match your interests with an organization(s).
