Arts, Crafts, and food vendors will round out this two day long outdoor festival which is now considered the third largest annual event at Esther Short Park. Thirteen Downtown Vancouver art galleries and Vancouver’s Downtown Association will hold a free “Art in the Heart” community event in the city center on August 6 and 7. Starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday Aug. 6 the public is invited to stroll from gallery to gallery as artists demonstrate their talents accompanied by live music. At 8:15, the crowd will make its way to Turtle Place at 7th Avenue and Main Street to enjoy a beer garden and a live performance by Seattle’s Hit Explosion on a stage sponsored by First Independent Bank.
