Open this link for a list of static groups that meet in Vancouver 6 Page Static Networking List last updated 1/9/12. When you open the link, it opens a word document sorted by day that shows what groups are meeting, what size the group is, where they meet and who is the contact person. The list has a revision date at the bottom so you know if you have the most recent version. Under the “This Week’s Events” there is a “Read more” button to click that expands the current week’s activities and upcoming events. Tuesday January 10th 7-8:30 PM the Coastal Conservation Association will be meeting at Camas Meadows Golf Coarse. Dave Schamp will discuss the Oregon Ballot measure will be the topic with an update on where it is at to change the gillnetting law on the Columbia River. Ed Wickersham and Harry Barber will give an update on Government Relations. Fishing guide John Huston will give a presentation on fishing techniques for steelhead and salmon. The meetings are free and you do not have to be a member to attend.

Wednesday, January 11th 5-7 PM. Green Drinks will be meeting at LaCosta restaurant 4708 NE Thurston Way, Vancouver, WA 98662. We’re excited to get started on the new year of mingling with green-minded individuals. Please welcome our new co-hosts, Dave and Hilary and we’re excited to still have Laura for a bit longer, as well! We’ve settled on a schedule of second Wednesday for 2012. Wednesday, Jan. 18th, 5 to 8 p.m. The next PubTalk is at the Red Cross Community Room, 605 East Barnes St., near Officers’ Row. PubTalk is a bi-monthly networking event for entrepreneurs, investors, and business professionals. Attendees hear pitches from startups as well as educational, thought-provoking speeches from successful local entrepreneurs. Since its inception in 2009, PubTalk has served over 20 startups and partially funded eight.
