Welcome to Vancouver’s Networking Website, www.vancouvernetworkingevents.com. I hope you enjoy these networking updates and events list. Here is a little info that might help. Open this link for a list of static groups that meet in Vancouver 6 Page Static Networking List  last updated 12/24/11. When you open the link, it opens a word document sorted by day that shows what groups are meeting, what size the group is, where they meet and who is the contact person. The list has a revision date at the bottom so you know if you have the most recent version. Under the “This Week’s Events” there is a “Read more” button to click that expands the current week’s activities and upcoming events. If you know of an event or group that meets and would like to get the word out, please let me know. Thursday, January 5th, 2012 4PM – 6PM Pinnacle Mortgage PAC Recognition Party & Nothing But Networking on January 5th. Presented by: Gaither Homes and Echo Construction. The PAC will be presenting it’s 2011 Person of the Year Award to a local elected official who has performed above and beyond the call of duty as an excellent steward for the building industry. Friday Jan 6th from 7:45 to 8:45 AM, The Clark County Business Development Group will be meeting at The Java House.  The topic will be “Protecting Your Business in 2012?.  There will be a panel of presenters and questions and answers.  The meeting is free and will be open to all for this event.

Tuesday January 10th 7-8:30 PM the Coastal Conservation Association will be meeting at Camas Meadows Golf Coarse. Dave Schamp will discuss the Oregon Ballot measure will be the topic with an update on where it is at to change the gillnetting law on the Columbia River.  Ed Wickersham and Harry Barber will give an update on Government Relations. Fishing guide John Huston will give a presentation on fishing techniques for steelhead and salmon. The meetings are free and you do not have to be a member to attend.

Wednesday, Jan. 18th,  5 to 8 p.m. The next PubTalk is at the Red Cross Community Room, 605 East Barnes St., near Officers’ Row. PubTalk is a bi-monthly networking event for entrepreneurs, investors, and business professionals. Attendees hear pitches from startups as well as educational, thought-provoking speeches from successful local entrepreneurs. Since its inception in 2009, PubTalk has served over 20 startups and partially funded eight.
