Thursday April 17th Noon to 1:00 PM the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon with a special format. A ‘Spring Connections’ speed networking format will be hosted by Laura Forsyth the former Board President. The speed networking event will give members the opportunity to be seated face-to-face with about 20 contacts in a 45 minute period. This provides a 2 minute “quick meet” where business cards are exchanged first— so you can follow up. Here’s how the format will work. Time is given to each person for an introduction. After two minutes a bell will ring and a new connection will be presented, and so on. Be prepared, think of your 45 second “elevator speech” and bring enough business cards. The Camas -Wa shougal Chamber of Commerce’s luncheon is open to members and prospective members. The cost is $20 per member and $25 per non -member. This would be a great luncheon event to bring guests to introduce to the Chamber. Please RSVP at least 24- hours in advance attend the event. Up Coming Events:

Friday April 11th and Saturday April 12th the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will have a kids fishing derby at Klineline pond.  Attached are the flyers for the event.  The cost is only $5.00 per child between 5-14 years old.  All volunteers from local fishing chapters help out the kids bait, cast and clean the fish.  Prizes are available to win and all kids get a tee-shirt and rod and reel. Friday is special needs dayPRN00002 and Saturday is open to all PRN00001.

Brett will be discussing tuna fishing opportunities and why you should get in on the action this coming season. Albacore tuna provide a fantastic angling and eating experience every Summer through Fall, and their hard fighting antics have won over many anglers. Thursday March 20th 11:30 to 1:00, the Camas-Washougal Chamber will have their monthly luncheon at Camas Meadows located at 4105 NW Camas Meadows Drive, Camas WA 98607.  The C-W Chamber is very pleased to host a presentation by Rene Carroll, longtime Camas and Washougal resident, author and owner of Rene Carroll Consulting. The C-W Chamber welcomes Rene to share her experience writing Legendary Locals for Arcadia Publishing. Rene, whose own family includes area pioneers and homesteaders, is an active volunteer for the Camas-Washougal Historical Society, having been a docent at the Two Rivers Heritage Museum for 13 years and the editor of the society’s newsletter for the past five years. Doors open at Camas Meadows at 11:30 am for networking, with the program beginning at noon. The cost is $20/member or first time guest and $25 nonmember.
